Idyll Wood Island, with its safe, gradual shoreline and protected dock delivers an
amazing panoramic view of the waters of Green Bay and Sturgeon Bay. Nestled below
the towering bluff of Potawatomi State Park, Idyll Wood Island is a frequent stop
for shore-birds and waterfowl.
The Idlewild peninsula is just across Sawyer Harbor from the Island, where Roberson's
Cottages has been operating since 1938. From our large dock on main land it is convenient
to transport your provisions and gear to the nearby Idyll Wood Island. Island guests
are always welcome to use all amenities at Robertson's.
Sunrise cottage has a convenient kitchen with a full size microwave and refrigerator.
Is has two bedrooms with one room having twin beds and a matching mahogany chest
of drawers while the other room has a massive double bed and a tall dresser. A ceramic
tile bathroom has a built-in tile shower. A favorite room is the sunroom, accessible
by Dutch doors from both the kitchen and living room. With large windows on three
walls, the view is truly spectacular. This cottage also has spacious lawns, a Weber
grill, picnic table, and lawn furniture which enhance the private outdoor living.
